A pleasant visit with an old friend

Tony was visiting family in good old P-town this weekend, so we enjoyed catching up over lunch Saturday. We went to high school with Tony, and Jeff attended college with him.

The Martins are always a good time! We missed Tammy and Josh, though, as they stayed back in Missouri for Josh's football camp.

Wedding with a twist

We went to a really fun wedding this weekend.

The groom is 40 and this is his first marriage. That right there is something, right? But the other thing is that the bride's ex-husband has been in a coma for 15 years. She actually divorced him in order to re-marry.

Technically, her ex-husband can wake up at any moment, to discover his daughters are no longer babies, but 16 & 18, and that his wife is no longer his wife. (Like the movie Castaway, with Tom Hanks?) Sad. But I'm happy for the bride and groom, as they were truly glowing.

Memorial Day pool party @ Joel's

He's all mine and you can't have him.

Thanks once again, Joel, for a fun party!

Memorial Day cook-out at Andy and Jen's

Swansons make these bag sets--Swanny builds 'em and Jen paints 'em.
They're cool.

Drew loves his dad's tractor.

My mom sporting Lore's "Kathy" purse.

A fun game of wiffle ball.

Jen and Kiley.

My sils, Jess and Heather, and their babies.

How sweet is that dual chair? Has a built-in cooler, too. So sweet.
