We went to a really fun wedding this weekend.The groom is 40 and this is his first marriage. That right there is something, right? But the other thing is that the bride's ex-husband has been in a coma for 15 years. She actually divorced him in order to re-marry.
Technically, her ex-husband can wake up at any moment, to discover his daughters are no longer babies, but 16 & 18, and that his wife is no longer his wife. (Like the movie Castaway, with Tom Hanks?) Sad. But I'm happy for the bride and groom, as they were truly glowing.
Wow. That is some craziness. Glad the couple is so happy though!
