For the love of vacation bible schools


Ahhh~time to register for vacation bible schools. I'm a HUGE honkin' fan of vacation bible schools.
Vacation bible school = nearly free, wholesome, educational babysitting!!
I have registered Alex and Jami for one VBS so far, but will be on the search for more today. It's a win-win, I tell you. Kids happy/parents happy. What could be better? To steal Heather's ex-boyfriend's dad's phrase, go out and "gitchusum" vbs!

    Oh yeah. When are kids old enough to go to VBS? Is one too young?

    I remember when my kids were little that they loved going to VBS. They had the best time.

    I had to laugh when I read your post, because last year I missed the deadline and couldn't send my kids...I was devastated (slightly dramatic, I know.) This year...I was right on it. What a welcome break from summer vacation! My daughter is old enough to help too, so I'm really making out this year!

    Oh cool. We're gearing up for VBS here as well. My kids can't wait. I have two that volunteer in crafts and snacks and two that participate. I am the historian, I get to take lots of pictures and record everything in a newsletter or blog...haven't figure out what or how I'm going to do it this year.
