Heatherty's "H" house

I was singing along to Brad Paisley's "Alcohol" when the line "you had some of the best times you'll never remember with me: alcohol" made me think back to high school.

Then, since I was driving right by Deerbrook/Oakbrook subdivision, I decided to pull in and snap some pictures of Heatherty's childhood home.

Several of our good times, which may or may not have involved alcohol, occurred there.

Heather's parents moved away after high school and Heather also resides out of state, so hopefully she'll get a hoot out of seeing her old home here.

What I remember about Heather's house was that the inside layout was shaped in an "H", which I thought was clever, since Heather's first and last names began with H. Cool, huh? Her basement was fun, too.

Anyway, Mr. and Mrs. H. went out of town on occasion and, well, we helped ourselves to their home. I feel badly that I never even thanked them. Thank them for me, will you Heather? Better late than never.
