I am so darn cute

I have been feeling so adorable lately, sporting my new spring threads. Especially my bright green trench coat/jacket. LOVE it. Get compliments on it all. the. time. Who cares if the compliments are mostly from Alex and Jami and my students at school? I'll take compliments any place, any how and any age I can get them.

I always experience this "feeling adorable" stage at the beginning of each new season. Fresh wardrobe, something different. Adds a bounce to my step, makes me stand a little taller.

Ahh...the power of a new season and a new attire...

**Haven't actually worn the shorts yet...still too cool for that. Wore my capris and flip-flops, though!

My purchases today

So everyone has been asking me what I bought on my shopping trip today, so I'll show and tell you. Yea, okay, so I'm kidding about people asking me about my purchases. No one asked me. And shame on you for that. But I'll show you anyway, because that's how I roll.

I bought those adorable capris up top, with the cute thingy in the back and groovy cuffs. Then the peach top that has the flattering sideways-swishy wrap-like things. (I wouldn't be very distinguished at catalog writing, would I?)

I also bought some eggplant-colored yoga pants to lounge in--no picture, as I'm wearing them.
